West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is presently one of the hottest properties in the premier league right now.
The young Englishman has anchored the midfield of the Hammers expertly well in the past few seasons, little wonder he’s attracted interests from top premier league clubs like Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea.
West Ham would of course love to keep hold of their most prized asset but Declan Rice eventually leaving East London is inevitable. Hence, the Hammers have reportedly braced themselves for selling the midfielder this summer.
According to Ian Ladyman of Daily Mail, West Ham will demand £150 million for Rice this summer after ‘privately’ accepting they will have to cash in on the England international at the end of the season.
Declan Rice has always been linked with a return to his boyhood club Chelsea but the Blues would obviously have to offload one or two players in midfield if they are to sign their academy graduate.
Manchester United meanwhile have as top of their spending priority a defensive midfielder as soon as the transfer window opens at the end of the season and Declan Rice who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford ticks all boxes of the modern day defensive midfielder the Red devils are looking for.
It however remains to be seen if any club would be willing to cough out a whopping sum of £150 million on Declan Rice.
