The Bianconnerri top group H with three points with the Blues in second place and Thomas Tuchel’s charges will be looking to cut that deficit and go top of the group after tonight.

Current Form:

Chelsea are currently one of the most in form sides in Europe and they’ve only lost two games in all competitions this season, one of which was in the first tie against Juventus in Turin late in September and they head into tonight’s game off the back of an outstanding 3-0 win away at Leicester on Saturday.

Juventus meanwhile have had ups and downs in the Serie A this season but still maintain a 100% record in the champions league as they’ve won all games so far, little wonder their three points cushion at the top of group H and they head into this one off the back of a 2-0 away victory over Lazio in the Serie A last weekend.

Team News:

Matteo Kovacic is still sidelined with a hamstring injury for Chelsea and Kai Havertz is a doubt following a hamstring issue he picked up against Leicester City over the weekend.

Romelu Lukaku’s involvement tonight is still under probability while Timo Werner could feature after making the bench against Leicester on Saturday.

Juventus on the other hand are set to be without Giogio Chiellini and Danilo who didn’t travel to London with the rest of the squad duo to fitness issues.

Chelsea Predicted xi: Mendy; Rudiger, Christensen, Azpilicueta; Hudson-Odoi, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic, Ziyech

Juventus Predicted xi: Sczeseny; Sandro, De Ligt, Bonnucci, Cuadrado; Locatteli, Rabiot; Chiesa, Dybala, Kulusevski; Morata

Thomas Tuchel did a very effective tactical tweak after losing to Juventus the last time and Chelsea have scored goals for fun since then. Hence, I expect Chelsea to be able to break the Juventus defensive wall tonight. More so, they have the home advantage.
