Thomas Tuchel believes Saúl has finally found his Chelsea mojo ahead of big second half of season

Spanish midfielder Saúl Niguez joined Chelsea on a season long loan from Atletico Madrid but struggled to establish himself in the Blues squad throughout the first half of the season.

Saúl has however looked brilliant in Chelsea’s recent games most especially in the Carabao Cup clash against Tottenham last week where the Spaniard put up an outstanding performance alongside Jorginho in midfield and this has restored belief in the player from coach Thomas Tuchel and the Chelsea faithful alike.

Tuchel in a recent interview admitted that he thinks the Atletico Madrid loanee has now adapted to the rhythm of English football after struggling to adapt in his first six months.

Thomas Tuchel: “I think so and I hope so being close to rhythm of English football]. He is more confident and in better shape. A huge step forward was the performance against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.”
