Arsenal face Leicester City on Sunday as in what promises to be a mouthwatering clash.
The Gunners would be looking for a win in order to strengthen their grip on the champions league places. Hence, a top performance is expected against a Leicester side that have improved in terms of performances in recent weeks.
Arsenal have been without some key players in recent weeks and Mikel Arteta who faced the media earlier today, gave an update on the fitness of his squad.
The gaffer confirmed that right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu is still a doubt while young midfielder Emile Smith Rowe could return after missing the last couple of games.
“Not many changes. Tomiyasu we’re still assessing him because we’re taking some time to try to protect him and get him in the best and safest possible way. Emile looks like he’s going to be available.“
There were doubts about the fitness of striker Alexander Lacazette but the Frenchman is likely to be available for Leicester. Arteta confirmed.
