Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is no doubt the hottest property in Europe right now in terms of football.
The Norwegian has attracted interests from almost all the big clubs in Europe. Real Madrid, Bayer Munich, Chelsea, Man Utd and PSG have all been strongly linked with the forward in recent times.
Speaking in an interview with Sport1, Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola admitted that the player could have left Dortmund last summer but the German club had to keep him due to footballing reasons, a decision which Raiola says he respects.
Raiola was also asked about his client’s next potential and the super agent revealed that Haaland could be joining any of the big clubs in what he termed a ‘strange summer’.
Mino Raiola: “He can and will take the next step. Bayern, Real, Barcelona, City – these are the big clubs he [Haaland] can go to. When we moved to Dortmund, we all knew that this step would come.”Sport1
Mino Raiola: “Maybe this summer, maybe the summer after. But there is a great chance that Erling [Haaland] will leave this summer. We will see.”Sport1
Erling Haaland’s departure from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022 would be subject to the payment of his release clause which stands at around €70 to 80 million. Hence, his next destination might just boil down to the club that agrees to pay the highest bonuses and wages for the player.
