Rio Ferdinand full of praise for Arsenal as he likens midfielder to Gunners legend

Arsenal have recovered from a slow start this season and have picked up terrific form as they’ve been unbeatean in their last eight games.

Mikel Arteta seems to have found the right keys to make Arsenal click again and the Gunners have risen from 20th position on the premier league log and now sit 5th on the premier league log, six points away from the top.

Ex Man Utd player and football pundit Rio Ferdinand recently gave his assessment of Arsenal’s current form and the Man Utd Legend while speaking on his founded YouTube channel FIVE, was full of praise for the Gunners and he singled out Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe as he likened him to Arsenal legend Robert Pires.

Rio Ferdinand: “There’s a team, there’s a united team. There’s a togetherness that I haven’t seen at Arsenal for a long time. There’s nobody doing more right now than Emile Smith Rowe”

Rio Ferdinand: “He’s got a bit of Hleb about him. He’s got a Robert Pires vibe a little bit.”

Emile Smith Rowe has been in fine form this season as he’s scored in Arsenal’s last three games and the Hale End Academy product was rewarded with a maiden call up to Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad after James Ward-Prowse, Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount failed to turn up due to fitness issues.
