REVEALED: Ronaldo refused substitution order from Man Utd boss Ten Hag

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo refused to come onto the field as a substitute against Tottenham.

Television footage of the game showed Ronaldo heading for the dugout before the final whistle had blown.

Per the Daily Mail, it has now been revealed that Ronaldo would have come on in the latter stages of the match, but refused his manager’s call.

He also departed the stadium immediately, not sharing the locker room with his teammates post-game.

Ronaldo will not train with the first team for the next few days, while he is absent from the squad as they prepare to take on Chelsea on Saturday in the Premier League.

United defeated Tottenham 2-0 thanks to goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes.
