POR 4-0 NIG: 3 Best And 3 Worst Players From The Game As Portugal Embarrass NigeriaToday In Lisbon.

Worst Players.

1. F. Uzoho.

The Nigerian goalkeeper conceded 2 good goals against Portugal today, both goals scored by Bruno Fernandes. There was nothing he could’ve done to prevent both goals from going in as his defence let him down in both occasions.

2. W. Ndidi.

He really struggled in midfield today against an organised Portuguese side. It seems like his lack of minutes at Leicester City in recent months are having an effect on his performance. He really needs to improve as soon as possible.

3. A. Iwobi.

The Everton star wasn’t as dominant as he would’ve wanted to be against Portugal today. And that was down to the fact that the Nigerian midfield was overrun time and time again by the Portuguese players.

Best Players.

1. Bruno Fernandes.

He scored 2 goals in today’s game against Nigeria and was everywhere for his team. He could’ve had a hattrick but a series of poor finishing prevented him from scoring a third goal.

2. D. Dalot.

He was very impressive at right back today for Portugal. He started ahead of Cancelo and assisted the first Portuguese goal today. He is making a case for himself ahead of the world cup.

3. A. Silva.

He was solid at the back and excellent with his distribution. He played like a seasoned professional against Nigeria today.
