The summer transfer window is just about a couple of months away and it’s no news that clubs are already making moves.
Arsenal in particular is one of those clubs that hope to be very active in the market this summer as their search for a new striker continues.
The Gunners let Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang join Barcelona in January and with both Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah likely to leave at the expiration of their contracts in June, a new striker will most definitely be needed at the Emirates and Arsenal have been linked with several names already.
Names like Victor Osimhen, Darwin Nunez and Marcus Rashford have emerged as potential targets in recent days and another name that has joined the list of targets is Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
This is according to a report by Italian media outlet, Calciomercarto obtained via Sport Witness as they claim that Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has established contact with Lautaro’s agent in view of a summer move.
There is nothing concrete of yet but what is quite clear is the fact that the Argentine is planning to leave Inter this summer and there is an array of possible destinations including Arsenal.
This is definitely one to keep an eye on as the story unfolds and reports have it that Paulo Dybala could replace his compatriot at the San Siro if an exit eventually happens.
