Marina Granovskaia set to grant Thomas Tuchel’s wish as she plots move for three high profile players

Chelsea director, Marina Granovskaia is reportedly plotting a number of moves to help strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

According to Marca, Jules Kounde, Matthijs De Ligt and Lorenzo Isigne currently top the Blues’ wish list.

Chelsea were very close to signing French defender Jules Kounde in August but they eventually failed to agree a fee with Sevilla as the Spanish club insisted that the 22-year old’s €80 million release clause be paid in full.

The France international is back on Chelsea’s radar once again and he could be a very good option and addition given the uncertainty surrounding the futures of both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen as the two are yet to sign a contract extension with the Blues.

Matthijs De Ligt is another player the Blues could attempt to lure to Stamford Bridge. The Juventus defender is one of the highly rated centre-backs in Europe as he’s shown so much promise since his days at Ajax and he could definitely be a plus to Thomas Tuchel’s squad with the uncertainty surrounding the future of some of Chelsea’s main defenders.

30 year old Napoli captain Lorenzo Isigne is meanwhile another one to keep an eye on. The Italian winger’s Napoli contract expires next summer and he’s yet to agree a contract extension with the Serie A club. Hence, he could be a free agent next summer and would be able to enter into pre-contract talks with interested clubs as from January.
