Manchester United Star Rejects Offer, To Leave The Club, With Next Move Already ‘Official’
Manchester United star Edinson Cavani has rejected a move away from the club, but only because he’s eyeing a move to his preferred destination.
Cavani signed in October 2020, and took his time to become a regular under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but by the end of the season was a regular fixture in the team.
The Uruguay striker was linked with a move to Boca Juniors last summer but was convinced by Solskjaer to stay at United for another season.
He was expected to be the first choice striker but then they signed Cristiano Ronaldo on deadline day and his chances in the first team have been limited, not helped by having to quarantine after national duty and an injury.
The 34-year-old is now expected to leave in January, six months before his deal expires, and according to reports, he’s already turned down one move.
The Argentinian outlet claim Cavani has actually said no to Boca this time, and he’s already decided that he wants to move to Barcelona next month.
