Jesse Lingard enjoyed a fruitful second half of last season on loan at West Ham and the 28 year old became an instant fan favourite at the London stadium as a rediscovery of mojo led to him being one of the key players at West Ham and premier league player of the month for April.

Lingard’s form also gave him a route back to the England Squad but he slightly missed out on participating in the Euros before his return to Manchester United in the summer despite several attempts by West Ham to keep him permanently.

The 28 year old hoped to work his way back into the Man Utd starting xi but things haven’t gone as expected for the player so far and according to EuroSport, Jesse Lingard is now back on West Ham’s transfer radar and the midfielder is open to the possibility of leaving Old Trafford as his representatives are set to consider new proposals from the London club.

Newcastle are said to be also interested alongside some other clubs that might indicate interest from outside England but reports say Lingard would favour a move to West Ham.

Jesse Lingard is out of contract at the end of this campaign and according to EuroSport, he is unlikely to be signing a new deal, even though Man Utd would like him to.

Man Utd now find themselves in the precarious situation of either holding on to Lingard in January and letting him go for free next summer or cashing in on the midfielder immediately the transfer window reopens.
