Chelsea have suffered a dip in form lately as they’ve dropped points in their most recent games which have seen them fall six points behind Man City and three points behind Liverpool in the title race.
Chelsea’s recent poor results can however be traceable to their recent injury woes as they’ve had several key players out injured in recent weeks.
Some have hinted that manager Thomas Tuchel could be under pressure at Chelsea but Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville disagrees as he thinks Tuchel has ‘enough credit’ already.
Gary Neville: “I think he’s got enough credit in the bank. I know it’s a club that does things very differently, but I’d hate to think that Thomas Tuchel is under pressure and they’re thinking of making a change, I can’t believe that to be the case.”Via @Blue_Footy
Judging from the recent happenings, one could easily agree with Gary Neville as the Blues have had to play without some key players in their most recent matches due to injuries and Covid-19.
Yesterday against Wolves was a prime example of the Chelsea squad being stretched beyond its limit as Thomas Tuchel had only 14 fit players to choose from with seven of his first team players testing positive for Covid-19 and the Blues getting a point against a very good Wolves side against the odds at the Molineux was a huge positive and a huge credit to Tuchel.
