Gary Neville delivers Premier League ‘big six’ verdict that Arsenal fans will hate

Arsenal is not among Manchester United legend Gary Neville’s “big six” for the Premier League this season.
Historically, the Gunners have been featured in the argument, alongside rivals Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal, on the other hand, has finished eighth in the Premier League in consecutive seasons after two very poor seasons.
Although they beat Norwich City at the weekend, they have had a shaky start to the season, losing three of their first four games against Brentford, Chelsea, and Manchester City, respectively.

Arsenal’s recent record has raised doubts about the club’s top-six credentials, and Neville believes Leicester have done enough to be considered among the best in the league.

“Can you tell me who the top six are?” he asked SportBible, via Leicestershire Live.

Is Leicester a top-six team? Isn’t that the case?”
The Foxes were not included in the typical major six teams, therefore he was just asked about them.

“However, I believe Leicester are in the top six,” he added, “therefore I disagree with the way it has been put together.”
“Liverpool, [Manchester] United, [Manchester] City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leicester City have all been in there in recent years.”

Arsenal, as a result of this selection, will be the ones to miss out — at least for the time being.
Mikel Arteta’s club, on the other hand, has plenty of time to improve and produce success with the season still ahead of them.
On Saturday, the Gunners travel to Burnley in what is expected to be a tough match before facing Tottenham in the north London derby on September 26.
