Sports pundit Garth Crooks has given his take on Arsenal’s current form as Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit fourth on the premier league log against the odds.
Crooks’ comments may not go down well with Arsenal fans though as he referred to the Gunners as an ordinary team, sort of insinuating that they don’t deserve to be fourth on the premier league table. He anyways praised the influence of English youngster Bukayo Saka.
Garth Crooks said this while given his opinions on the BBC team of the week article. According to him; “Saka is the reason Arsenal find themselves flying high. I can’t understand how such an ordinary team keeps getting these results. It’s unbearable.”
The last phrase in his statement ‘It’s unbearable’ has been regarded by a lot of fans as highlighting a biassed analysis from the former Tottenham and Man Utd player as he’s seemingly unhappy to see Arsenal in the top four.
The Gunners have turned their season around after finding themselves in the relegation zone after the first couple of games. Mikel Arteta’s charges went on a winning streak that saw them work their way into the European spots conversation and they now sit fourth on the premier league table after winning the last three games against Southampton, West Ham and Leeds United.
Last Saturday was an outstanding 4-1 win away at Elland Road with Bukayo Saka, Smith Rowe and Martinelli stealing the show.
