The Gunners are set for an extremely busy summer transfer window as manager Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad just 12 months after spending in excess of £150million on six first-team signings. With The Athletic reporting that Manchester City have agreed on a £45 million deal for midfielder Kalvin Phillips, it’s reported that Leeds will now demand a fee that is in the region of £65 million for Raphinha.

Arsenal have reached a ‘verbal’ agreement with Manchester City to sign Gabriel Jesus in a deal said to be worth £45m, according to various reports.

Arsenal must now agree personal terms with the player, although this is not expected to be an issue.
