Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been linked with joining rivals Manchester United in the summer amidst the current uncertainties at Chelsea Football Club.
Sky Sports pundit and ex Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was the one who first suggested that Man Utd should target Tuchel in the summer and ever since then, rumours linking the German with the coaching job at Manchester have dominated the headlines.
Thomas Tuchel was facing the media today ahead of his side’s FA Cup fixture against Middlesbrough tomorrow and when asked about the links, he responded that there are enough reasons for him to remain at Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel: “Do you feel me less committed? I said many times I love working for CFC. This club has everything here to make me happy. There are plenty of reasons to stay.”
Manchester United are in search of a long term manager that would replace interim coach Ralf Ragnick at the helm and they’ve been majorly linked with Erik Ten Haag of Ajax and Mauricio Pochettino of PSG.
Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is another name reportedly on the shortlist but fingers remain crossed as to who Man Utd would eventually pick and according to reports that emanated yesterday, an attempt to lure Thomas Tuchel from Chelsea is very unlikely as things stand.
