English Premier League heavyweights, Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City have received a big boost in their aim to land Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland next summer as latest reports suggest that Spanish giants Real Madrid are pulling out of the race to sign the Borrusia Dortmund striker.
Erling Haaland is arguably the hottest property in the footballing world right now as literally every club wants to sign him.
Ever since breaking into the scene, the Norwegian has attracted suitors from all around Europe and Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea are the three English clubs to have expressed concrete interest in signing the former RB Salzburg star.
Chelsea were really interested in signing Haaland in the summer but were put off by Borussia Dortmund’s asking price as they had to settle for Lukaku in the end. Rumours however suggest that the Blues could once again try their luck for the youngster next summer.
Man City meanwhile would definitely be in need of a striker next summer after failing to land Harry Kane before the start of the season and Erling Haaland is prime amongst their targets.
Haaland has also been linked with a move to Man Utd as the Norwegian is fancied as a potential replacement for 34-year old Edison Cavani who could be leaving the club next summer.
According to the latest reports making the rounds in Europe, Real Madrid who are one of the major contenders to sign Erling Haaland have accepted that the striker would be heading to the premier league next summer and this is somewhat of a green light to the premier league clubs willing to land the main man.
