Chelsea are among the clubs that have contacted the agents of Boubacar Kamara over a possible transfer next summer. Per Santi Aouna
Boubacar Kamara is currently in in the final year of his contract at French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marsielle and Santi Aouna reported for Foot Mercato in November that the 22-year old had already rejected four contract extension offers from OM.
Kamara is a very important player for OM manager Jorge Sampaoli but as things stand, it is unlikely that the midfielder would stay at the club beyond the end of this season.
A cold relationship with club president Pablo Longoria also does not help mattes and Kamara is free to negotiate with interested clubs this winter.
Santi Aouna reports that the midfielder would prefer a summer move instead of a winter move and the likes of Bayer Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea have already established contact with the player’s agent over a possible move.
Kamara adds to a list of Chelsea targets as they look to sign a defensive midfielder next summer. West Ham’s Declan Rice and Monaco’s Aurielen Tchouanemi were said to be the primary targets but Boubacar Kamara could well provide a cheaper option for the Blues given the fact that he’d likely be a free agent at the end of this season.
