Chelsea training kit sponsors, Trivago have released a statement amidst the uncertainty surrounding the club following sanctions on owner Roman Abrahmovich by the UK government.
Jersey Sponsors, ThreeUK suspended their partnership with the club yesterday while Nike said they were assessing the situation but Trivago have gone a different direction by standing with Chelsea in this difficult times.
“We are looking forward to a transition of ownership as soon as possible and want to support the club in this process. We will provide any update to our business relationship if and when appropriate.” The official statement read
This comes as a welcomed development for Chelsea and a lot of fans have even called for Trivago to replace ThreeUK as the official match kit sponsor due to the fact that the latter had suspended partnership with the club.
