Italian giants Juventus are reportedly interested in a move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
This is according to Gazetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness who report that the Serie A club are looking out for a midfielder, with manager Maximilano Allegri particularly interested in a ‘conductor’
Juve had tried to sign a player of that profile in the person of Miralem Pjanic last summer, but couldn’t afford the funds to complete the deal and now, the prospect of Jorginho being available in the summer presents a great opportunity for the Old Lady to get the kind of midfielder they’ve been looking for as the Chelsea midfielder would most likely be more affordable, given that he’d have just a year left on his contract by the time. More so, Juventus are reported to presently be in a better financial shape than they were last summer.
The Bianconerri’s interest is said to be one that ‘flatters’ Jorginho and the complicated situation around Roman Abrahmovich and Chelsea recently could increase the chances of this deal happening.
Though, it is not clear yet whether Chelsea would be willing to sell one of their most influential midfielders in the summer, but Gazetta dello Sport are quite certain that the midfielder fancies a return to Italy.
