Arsenal’s new 2022/23 away kit appears to have been leaked online before its full release, if the rumoured pictures are to be believed. It comes just weeks after a similar design had been seen circulating social media.
It comes at the time of year where fans try to build themselves up for next season again, with the football put on hold over the summer break. The Gunners finished fifth last season, meaning they will be looking to go one better next time out to finally secure a return to the Champions League.
That could be heavily dependent on that activity over the next few weeks, with the transfer window on the horizon as well as pre-season. In anticipation, fans will likely be excited to see the new kits that their favourite players will be stepping out in next season.
After much online speculation, the home kit for the campaign was released earlier this month, following a slight mistake from Granit Xhaka, who was pictured wearing it under a few layers of clothing in a photo with fans. There were similar leaks of the away and third kit, with the former pictured in a black colour with patterns over it, while the latter was a pale pink.
And, according to AFCFixtureNews on Twitter, it appears the away kit ‘leak’ was correct. The picture shows a new angle of the black shirt on a mannequin, suggesting there is substance to the previous images.
Included in the tweet is a release date, claiming that it will be revealed in two months time, on Wednesday July 20th during the club’s tour of America for pre-season. That date also happens to be the scheduled day of the friendly against Orlando City.
It remains to be seen if these images turn out to be true, while the club prepares official announcements for it.
