Arsenal have identified Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski as a transfer option ahead of the January transfer window.
This is according to Sky Sports Italia transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio who reports that the Gunners are eyeing a move for the 21-year old after efforts to sign Dusan Vlahovic hit stumbling block.
Arsenal had strong interest in Vlahovic and were ready to swoop for the Florentina striker in January but according to reports, the Serbian’s representatives refused to pick calls from Arsenal’s entourage ehich indicated they were not ready to hold transfer talks with the premier league club.
Kulusevski is now the latest option to be added to Arsenal’s transfer list. The Swedish international has scored twice in 15 appearances cut across the champions league and Serie A this season and at just 21, the winger is regarded as a huge prospect.
Arsenal would definitely want to get a deal done in January as they’re set to lose both Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah who will both be out of contract next summer.
The Gunners would prefer the option of letting both players leave for a fee in January and this would a void in attack coupled with the imminent temporary departure of Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe who is already booked to represent his country at the African Cup of Nations.
