Arsenal would most likely be in the market in search of a new striker when the summer transfer window opens a few months from now with both Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah being in the final four months of their Arsenal contracts.
After missing out on Dusan Vlahovic and letting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave in January, the Gunners have been linked with players like Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, João Felix amongst others to help fill the void in attack.
Former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadere who has named Alexander Isak has as his personal choice has stated that the Gunners must secure champions league football for next season if they’re to get their transfer targets.
“,We’re going to need some strikers. We’re going to need someone who’s a number nine, somebody that plays up front,” Aliadiere told BonusBetCodes as quoted by football.london
“As much as I love (Alexandre) Lacazette, obviously he’s been on his own lately with the departure of (Pierre-Emerick) Aubameyang. Lacazette might end up leaving as well.
“So we definitely need to attract some players and buy some players up front.
“It’s all going to depend on Champions “/League football. If you . If you do, big monies come in, players just think you know, ‘I’ll go to Arsenal now, play Champions League football’.”
“If you don’t, then it’s obviously a different kind of player you can attract. It’s all related to this.”
Arsenal would be very confident of being able to achieve this target as things stand, after climbing to fourth place on the premier league log on Sunday despite playing three games less than fifth place Man Utd.
