Arsenal to evaluate ‘economic offer’ for €60 million Real Madrid flop

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic has not quite had the brilliant career expected of him at Madrid and the Serbian could have exited the Spanish capital last summer but he decided to stay and fight for a starting spot under Carlo Ancellotti.

Presently, Jovic must be ruing that decision he made last summer to stay at Real Madrid as he’s been limited to mostly late substitute appearances in all competitions this season with just one goal to his name so far.

Jovic has always attracted interests from top clubs with Arsenal being one of those clubs interested in signing the striker last summer and according to Fichajes via Sport Witness, the Gunners could make a move again this summer with an ‘economic offer’.

Luka Jovic is said to be valued at around €60 million by Real Madrid but the question is, would Arsenal be willing to cough out such amount of money for a striker who has underperformed for the last couple of seasons?

The report by Sport Witness say that even though the story linking Jovic to Arsenal pushes the idea of a permanent transfer, the Gunners could try for a loan deal with an option to buy instead, as the Striker’s Real Madrid contract runs until June 2025.
