Arsenal tipped to complete £8.5 million transfer for potential Nicolas Pepe replacement

Arsenal look to be very active in the January transfer window as a lot of incoming and outgoing transfers are expected.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has already completed a move to AS Roma this week and another player who could be on the move very soon is Nicolas Pepe who is currently on international duty with Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations.

Nicolas Pepe has lost his place in the Arsenal starting xi this season as the quartet of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli have been in brilliant form and according to, the winger is seeking a move elsewhere.

Arsenal seem ready to let Nicolas Pepe go and they’ve already lined up a replacement according to Calciomercato via who are reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic could be joining the Gunners for as low as £8.5 million with just 18 months left on his contract.

Filip Kostic who has been likened to Gareth Bale looks like an ideal signing for Arsenal with eight goals and 27 assists for club and country in the year 2021.

His run of having only 1 (ONE) game below a 7.0 rating in club competition for Frankfurt is also rudiculous output and Arsenal could well have a player on their hands if a deal materializes.
