Arsenal have completed the signing of youngster Zayn Ali Salman, who is now just five years old.
Instagram sensation Ali Salman became the youngest ever recruit at the Gunners, signing up for the north London club’s pre-Academy when he was four years old after demonstrating talent from such a young age.
The highly-rated starlet has attracted considerable attention after videos of the youngster playing against kids twice his age emerged on his Instagram account.
Salman has garnered considerable praise from Arsenal scout Stephen Deans, who claims that the club’s new recruit was showcasing his talent when he was still in nursery school.
“He was doing things you shouldn’t be doing at that age,” Deans said.
“When I saw him, I called a friend who confirmed he was four. I couldn’t believe that he is still in nursery.
“Then I spoke to his parents and brought him to a few sessions. He is no fluke.”
Salman’s low centre of gravity and incredible balance has earned him comparisons to footballing icon Lionel Messi, who joined Argentine side Newell’s Old Boys at the age of eight before he left for Catalan giants Barcelona when he was 13.
