Premier League side Arsenal have always been linked with signing Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski since the past few months.
Arsenal’s interest in the Swedish star had though whithered away a little bit in the past few weeks as various reports suggested that both Everton and Tottenham Hotspur were in the race for the winger with Arsenal’s London rivals Tottenham being tipped as the player’s most likely destination.
However, there’s been a twist as per the latest reports emerging from Italy. According to Corriere Torino and Calciomercato via Sport Witness, Arsenal now lead the race to sign Kulusevski ahead of their north London rivals with the Gunners currently in ‘pole position’.
Juventus on their part are said to be willing to let go of the Sweden international who has started only five games in all competitions this season and they’d be willing to listen to offers as soon as the winter transfer window opens this January.
A fee of around €35 million is Juventus’ asking price for the forward but will the Gunners be willing to meet such demands? Still yet to be seen as the future of players like Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette currently hang in the air.
