Mikel Arteta is set to face the press ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Manchester United on Thursday night at Old Trafford.
The game marks the first for the Red Devils since new manager Ralf Rangnick was appointed as Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s successor, but due to work permit issues it will be Michael Carrick on the touchline for this match.
The former England international is currently unbeaten in his caretaker spell in charge of United and will be looking to extend that run against Arsenal.
However, the Gunners will fancy their chances of picking up a second result at Old Trafford in a row, after bouncing back well from their 4-0 hammering at Anfield to claim a comfortable 2-0 victory against Newcastle on Saturday.
It has emerged that Arsenal defender Gabriel was a victim of an attempted robbery.
The Brazilian was approached by some men – one of whom had a bassball bat – who attempted to steal his Mercedes and his watch.
However, the 23-year-old was able to fight the pair off and thankfully came away from the incident physically unharmed.
Arteta on Saka’s injury
I am hopeful but we don’t know. It’s a really short turnaround. THe player has to be comfortable playing with a little injury.
