Sanches is one of the key players at French club Lille as he was very instrumental to their Ligue 1 success last season and was linked with a move to both Barcelona and AC Milan in the summer.

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal are willing to sell Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette and Bernd Leno in order to fund a move for Sanches in January.

Both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are currently in the final year of their Arsenal contracts and the Gunners have the option of cashing in on the duo in January instead of losing them for free next summer since there are no plans for a renewal.

Bernd Leno is also linked with a potential exit from Arsenal. The German goalkeeper has lost his place to new signing Aaron Ramsdale in the Gunners’ team and a move elsewhere would definitely be on the cards if things remain the same.

Though, it has been rumoured that Arsenal have no intention of selling Leno in January, reports emanating from Italy suggests that Leno is amongst the names shortlisted by Arsenal for a potential January exit.

Whatever the case may be, Leno would certainly be keen on a move as he doesn’t seem likely to keep Aaron Ramsdale out of Arteta’s first xi anytime soon.
