Arsenal are reportedly interested in acquiring Georginio Wijnaldum on loan as the midfielder seeks regular playing time, according to reports.
The 31-year old, who moved to PSG in the summer of 2021, is understood to be interested in a temporary loan move back to the Premier League.
The midfielder, who had previously played for Liverpool, signed to play for the French team in the summer due to lack of game time.
The report also indicates that PSG would be willing to let the Dutch man leave in January on loan. The player himself is open to this option as well.
This season, Wijnaldum has played 14 times for PSG in Ligue 1 finding the back of net just once. He has also featured in five UEFA Champions League matches.
PSG are currently at the top of their table but Arsenal are four points away from reaching the fourth spot within their own league.
Mikel Arteta is obviously a big fan of Wijnaldum and is fascinated at the opportunity of signing him, the Gunners will reportedly make a decision soon.
