According to numerous reports, Arsenal could be in a three-way transfer battle this summer for Ivorian right-back Wilfried Singo.
The 21-year old has impressed for Italian Serie A outfit Torino this season, little wonder the interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.
As per CBS via football.london, the Gunners and Spurs have sent scouts to watch the youngster on ‘countless occasions’ as both clubs search for a new right-back.
However, Liverpool could spoil the transfer plans of both North London clubs as they have also been linked with a move for Singo and the Merseyside outfit seem to have an advantage in this transfer battle with UEFA Champions League football next season seemingly a guarantee for Jurgen Klopp’s charges.
Arsenal and Tottenham are currently in a premier league top four race and as things stand, it is very likely that one of the two clubs would miss out on next season’s champions league spots and it could dent the hopes of landing Singo for whichever club that misses out with reports suggesting that the Ivory Coast international would prefer signing for a side playing UCL football next season.
Singo’s current Torino contract expires at the end of next season and the Serie A outfit reportedly value him at £15 million.
