Arsenal Handed Surprise Massive Injury Boost For ‘Outstanding Ace’ Ahead Of Southampton

Arsenal have been handed a massive injury boost in regards to Gabriel Martinelli. The promising youngster is expected to feature this weekend against Southampton.

Arsenal had a poor performance against Everton last Monday and their injury woes were made all the more tragic by an injury blow for young Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli who limped off with a hamstring injury in the second half.

Coach Mikel Arteta watched as his team once again screwed things up and let valuable points slip away.

Martin Odegaard scored the opening goal in the first half only for a late equalizer by Richarlison to aid his side’s comeback.

The result also was also made redundant when Demarai Gray scored in injury time to give his team the win they felt they deserved that day.

After the match, Arteta delivered an update on the young attacker, hinting he [Martinelli] could be out for some weeks.

“I don’t know we will have to assess him. He felt something in his hamstring so I’m not very positive about it,” Arteta said looking angry after the defeat to Everton.

After much anticipation, Arsenal finally announced on Friday morning that Martinelli will be fit to face Southampton.

“Gabi was substituted during the match against Everton on Monday. He has been fully assessed since and is fit and available for selection for Saturday’s match,” Arsenal wrote on their official website.

The news of Gabriel’s return will be met with joy by fans, who have seen their star player come back stronger than ever before.

He has started Arsenal’s last two Premier League matches this season after scoring an amazing goal against Newcastle.
