AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has been a subject of transfer interests from several top clubs in Europe.
Both Arsenal and Man Utd have been credited with interest in the Ivorian whose AC Milan contract expires next summer.
Franck Kessie is seen as a possible solution to Man Utd’s defensive midfield problems and they’ve been linked with the AC Milan man since last summer.
Arsenal meanwhile would need to strengthen the depth in their midfield in the next transfer window and Franck Kessie is prime amongst their transfer targets.
According to reports making the rounds in Europe, Kessie is reluctant to sign an extension to his current AC Milan contract meaning he could be free to negotiate with other clubs in January.
According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan has offered Franck Kessie a contract worth £5.5 million per year but the Ivory Coast midfielder is holding out for a more improved offer of £7.7 million per year.
Arsenal and Man Utd are not the only clubs Interested in the 24 year old as premier league side Tottenham Hotpur have also been linked with a move.
PSG and Barcelona are also said to be interested in Kessie and with the possibility of the midfielder being available for a cut price in January, a winter transfer battle is definitely on the cards.
