Antonio Conte has already hinted at next possible destination amid Arsenal manager talk

Arsenal has had a poor start to the season, as they are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table after losing their first three games.

However, if Arsenal’s recent poor form continues, he might be the next manager to leave, with Antonio Conte being one of the names mentioned in connection with a return to England.

Arsenal has ‘contacted’ Conte, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, and the two parties have reached a ‘preliminary agreement,’ according to the report.

The Italian’s most recent managerial position was at Inter Milan last season, and he has hinted at his next likely destination amid Arsenal’s interest.

It’s been suggested that his value hasn’t risen much since guiding Inter to their first Serie A title in over a decade, and he shunned a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

“I look for projects instead,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport when asked why he didn’t take the Spurs job. “I am ready to stay at home if something does not convince me.”

“It’s about having a vision, being honest, and having beliefs.” I like challenges in general, and I’ve taken on a lot of them during my career.” When I first arrived, even the best clubs I coached were never favorites.
“However, regardless of the money, if there is something that does not convince me, I prefer not to accept.”
He’s voiced a desire to manage a club outside of Italy once more, implying that Arsenal may be a new challenge for him if their bad form continues and Arteta leaves.

“I’d like to have more international adventures,” he continued.

I don’t believe I am someone who is content with a comfortable situation. “As a player, I won all there was to win, but I also lost a lot,” says the athlete. When you lose, it makes you want to never lose again, therefore as a head coach, you do everything you can to instill that drive in your players.
