21 year old Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic is presently one of the most coveted strikers in Europe.
The Floretina marksman has been attracting interests from some of the biggest clubs in Europe and Arsenal are said to be prime amongst the player’s suitors.
The Gunners would be hoping to sign Vlahovic as a replacement for attacking duo Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah who are set to be out of contract next summer and could both leave in January.
Arsenal have already tried to seal an €80 million deal with Florentina for Vlahovic but would have to do the job of convincing the striker who is stalling on a move to London, as per Sport Witness.
The player’s agent and lawyer, Claudio Pasqualin however believes that their position could change depending on if the right offer comes and money is the major factor behind the player’s current stance.
Claudio Pasqualin: “The reason is the existence of bigger offers,”Firenze Viola via Sport Witness
Claudio Pasqualin: “Evidently, he has contacts, relationships and prospects with teams that offer more. Arsenal is one of the most coveted teams in the world, but if there is Valladolid offering twice as much, you think about it… I see the economic aspect as more important.”Firenze Viola via Sport Witness
Claudio Pasqualin: “The route he is following is based more on economic needs… but maybe there is Real Madrid behind him, and he goes to play there: it would not be shocking; he has the numbers to do it.”Firenze Viola via Sport Witness
From all indications, Arsenal must better whatsoever other clubs are offering Vlahovic in order for them to land the centre-forward in January.
