
In breaking news, an 18-year-old male has surrendered himself to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a recent homicide that took place at a Wawa gas station.
According to authorities, Tyler Harnage, an 18-year-old resident of Apollo Beach, has been charged with third-degree murder involving a firearm, as well as causing great bodily harm and death.
According to deputies, a warrant for Harnage’s arrest was obtained on Tuesday. On Tuesday, he surrendered himself to Orient Road Jail without any trouble, accompanied by his lawyer.
This summer, Greyson’s Law will take effect, which aims to protect children during custody battles.
A 13-year-old has been charged with the felony murder of Kain Heiland.
On May 10th at approximately 8:30 p.m., a shooting incident was reported at a Wawa located at the intersection of US Highway 301 and Gibson Drive, as stated by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene in response.
An adult male was found with an apparent gunshot wound by deputies and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue at the scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim was transported to the hospital and subsequently declared deceased.
