
Two 16-year-old male teenagers have been identified by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) as the victims of a double homicide in the eastern part of the province. Another individual was also seriously injured in the incident.
In the early hours of May 22, Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment officers were called to a residence on Mackay Street in Pembroke, Ont. Upon arrival, they found two male teenagers with critical injuries.
Two victims were transported to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead. In the immediate area, another victim was discovered deceased.
Noah Nathaniel Annis and Alando Omario Davidson, both 16 and from Mississauga, have been identified as the victims. According to the police, a post-mortem examination has revealed that the cause of death for the individuals was gunshot wounds.
A 16-year-old from Mississauga has sustained serious injuries, marking the third individual of the same age and location to experience such harm. According to investigators, it is believed that the victims were specifically targeted.
At present, there are no leads on any potential suspects.
A significant number of law enforcement officers will remain in the vicinity as the inquiry progresses.
