Lester ‘Nicco’ Bagakuhog Identified As Victim of Deadly Hit-and-Run in Kernan area

The family of the man who was killed in a hit-and-run accident near the Tamaya neighborhood on Thursday night has identified him.

According to the victim’s father, Lester ‘Nicco’ Bagakuhog, aged 28, lost his life in the said incident. The youngest member of his family was Nicco. The individual worked as a forklift driver.

As of Friday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol has reported that a suspect has been arrested in connection to the incident. The car involved in the fatal crash has been located by FHP officers. It is a Chevy Tahoe.

According to the FHP report, a 36-year-old man is recovering from minor injuries sustained in the crash.

At 7:12 p.m. on Thursday, a crash occurred. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two motorcyclists decelerated at a red light when a vehicle trailing them accelerated and proceeded to strike them.

A traffic accident occurred on Beach Boulevard, specifically on the east side of Tamaya Boulevard, resulting in traffic congestion in the vicinity. Eastbound drivers were redirected and rerouted onto Kernan Boulevard.
