According to Hamilton Police Chief Steve Snavely and Ravalli County Sheriff and Coroner Steve Holton, a Hamilton man who had been reported missing was discovered deceased on Tuesday.
Christopher McCown, 32, was located by law enforcement officials to the west of Hamilton.
As per the coroner’s initial investigation, it is being reported that McCown’s demise was likely caused by a fall.
On May 16, it was reported that McCown had gone missing. He was last seen in the Hamilton area five days before his disappearance.
A homicide case in Missoula has resulted in one fatality and the arrest of a suspect.
According to officials, a witness reported sighting a man resembling McCown on a trail located to the west of Hamilton on May 12th.
