According to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s office, a fatal car-motorcycle accident occurred on Wednesday, May 24 resulting in the death of Arnaldo L. Cruz-Pabo, a 36-year-old resident of Niles, Michigan.
A crash occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on McKinley Highway near Filbert Road in Mishawaka.
According to the prosecutor’s office, a collision took place between the motorcycle of Cruz-Pabo and a car driven by a Mishawaka woman while both were traveling westbound on McKinley. The prosecutor’s office did not disclose any information regarding how the crash transpired.
According to reports, Cruz-Pablo was pronounced dead at the scene. According to reports, the other driver involved in the incident emerged unscathed and stayed at the location to assist authorities with their investigation.
According to police reports, a body was discovered near Kroger in Mishawaka. The authorities have identified the deceased individual, but no further information has been released at this time.
The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is currently investigating the crash.
