Timber Rose Cournoyer Identified As Victim Found Dead Of Assault
The victim of the assault that occurred on May 22, 2023, at around 11:17 pm has been identified as Timber Rose Cournoyer, aged 33.
Adrian Lund, aged 31, has been charged with Homicide as Murder in the Second Degree under SDCL 22-16-7, Aggravated Assault Domestic under SDCL 22-18-1.1, and Possession of Controlled Substance under SDCL 22-42-5.
These charges have been brought against him as a consequence of the investigation into Timber’s death.
Timber’s family has received condolences from us. The Yankton Police Department received assistance from the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and Yankton County EMS.
