Almost a year after the death of their 2-year-old son, two parents from northwest Harris County have been arrested.

In a recent development, 26-year-olds Fredrick Brown and Christin Patrick have been taken into custody on Wednesday. The charges against them include causing severe harm to their sole offspring, Saint Brown, in September of this year.

According to a report from the Texas Department of Child and Family Services, it has been determined through an autopsy that the cause of death was physical abuse. The report specifically cites severe injuries to the victim’s brain and eyes.

According to the doctor who performed the autopsy, the boy was discovered to have numerous injuries including bruises, bite marks, cuts, scars, swelling, and hemorrhaging. According to sources, the victim’s injuries were found to be in different stages of healing, suggesting that he had been subjected to multiple beatings.

According to available evidence, the individual in question had reportedly sustained injuries from a cord and ruler. According to documents, the parents confessed to administering pops with a ruler to their child. According to the autopsy report, it was revealed that he had been struck on the face with the object.

According to reports, the boy was found to be malnourished and weighed in at the fifth percentile for his age group.

According to the report, Patrick and Brown informed investigators that the boy had fallen down the stairs outside their apartment. According to the autopsy report, the injuries sustained by the individual were deemed to be “inconsistent” with a fall down the stairs.

As per the state report, law enforcement officials had suspicions that Brown was involved in the sale of marijuana from their apartment located on the 5900 block of Flintlock Road, where the unfortunate incident of the boy’s death occurred.

According to a source familiar with the investigation, The individual was reportedly taken into custody with narcotics and an assault rifle. The source also stated that the individual will be facing further charges.

According to a woman who identified herself as the boy’s grandmother, she wrote a message under his obituary expressing that he was a gift from God. She also mentioned missing his pure heart, love, smile, and wisdom.
