Eddie Lee Rogers Identified As David Raines Homicides Victim
The Caddo Parish Coroner’s office has identified a man who was fatally shot on David Raines Road in north Shreveport on the evening of May 24, 2023.
At approximately 9:10 p.m., Eddie Lee Rogers, aged 72, was discovered outside his home on David Raines in the 1800 block, having sustained a gunshot wound.
According to reports, the individual was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital and was pronounced dead at 9:19 p.m.
Through fingerprint comparison, Mr. Rogers has been positively identified.
The 29th homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish in 2023 has been reported as a death. The Shreveport Police Department is currently investigating the death.
