Dr Alberto Fioletti Identified As Suspect in the Murder of Stephanie Hodgkinson

In a recent development, Dr. Alberto Fioletti, aged 31, has been accused of fatally stabbing Stephanie Hodgkinson, aged 34, at her ground floor flat on Rosemount Road.

A veterinary nurse has tragically passed away after sustaining a chest wound from a stabbing incident that occurred at her residence.

The incident took place on a peaceful cul-de-sac, located a mere few minutes away from Alum Chine Beach. At 12:19 p.m. on May 12, police found the body of a 34-year-old woman in her home after being alerted by ambulance services.

31-year-old Fioletti has been apprehended on suspicion of murder and has been transported to the hospital due to severe injuries sustained during the same incident. The vet, who had been discharged from the hospital, was charged with the murder of Mrs. Hodgkinson.

Today, Fioletti, a resident of West Street in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, made an appearance in Poole Magistrates’ Court via video link. In a concise court proceeding, he solely uttered words to verify his identity and place of residence.

The veterinarian has been detained in custody and is scheduled to make a court appearance tomorrow at Winchester Crown Court.

As per the accounts of the neighbors, the woman had been residing in the apartment with her children for almost five years and was not in contact with her spouse. A veterinary nurse was employed at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists in Ringwood, Hampshire.

According to a representative for the veterinary office, they expressed being startled and deeply saddened by the news. They also conveyed their thoughts and sincerest condolences to Stephanie’s family during this unfortunate time.

The individual declined to comment further, citing ongoing judicial proceedings as the reason for their inability to speak. Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins of the Major Crime Investigation Team stated that their sympathies are still with Stephanie’s family.

He also mentioned that they are providing the family with updates regarding the progress of their investigation. The speaker stated that they will persist in their efforts to assist them.
