According to Chatham-Kent police, three persons died as a result of a collision between a car and a semi-tanker truck on Sunday night in Wallaceburg, Ontario.

Just before 10 p.m. ET, emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the collision on McNaughton Avenue.

There was a driver and four other people in the car.

According to a statement from the police, the automobile entered McNaughton Avenue before colliding with the semi-tanker truck.

Three Wallaceburg residents—the car’s driver, a woman, 23, a woman, 24, and a guy, 24, were all declared dead at the spot.

According to authorities, a 25-year-old lady from Dover Township was injured critically and taken to a hospital in London.

A 22-year-old Wallaceburg woman who was the fourth passenger was transferred to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

The semi-tanker truck’s driver was sent to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
