Tatiana Haywood Identified The Vicitim Involved in the Shooting In 3700 Block of Carlos Avenue.

The individuals involved in the shooting that occurred in the 3700 block of Carlos Avenue have been identified by detectives from the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit.

Tatiana Haywood, an 18-year-old black female, has been identified as the victim. According to reports, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. The family has been notified, according to sources.

According to reports, the individual responsible for the shooting has been identified as Nasir Scott, an 18-year-old black male.

The individual was taken to the hospital due to gunshot wounds that appeared to be self-inflicted. According to sources, the individual was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. The family has been notified, according to sources.

At around 8:15 a.m. on May 24, 2023, the Fayetteville Police Department received reports of a shooting that had taken place in the 3700 block of Carlos Avenue. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.
