Mr. Herd is believed to have passed away due to a fall during severe weather conditions. He had gone missing on Sunday. According to sources, he was last seen departing from his lodging with the intention of embarking on a mountain trek.

According to reports, searchers have found the body of an individual along with all of their personal belongings. The discovery suggests that the individual did not meet a violent end. The Ayusai River Gorge was the location where his body was found. It is believed that he fell and subsequently passed away. Local media reports that he disappeared in the vicinity of the first waterfall located in the Ayusay Gorge.
Amidst harsh weather conditions, including wind, rain, and snow, an attempted rescue mission was carried out. According to reports, Mr. Herd arrived in Kazakhstan over the weekend and was scheduled to depart on Monday.
