35-year-old Amanda Newton identified as woman found stabbed to death at an apartment complex in San Antonio

The medical examiner has identified 35-year-old Amanda Newton as the woman found stabbed to death at apartment complex just north of downtown on Monday morning.

Police are looking for the person responsible for Newton’s murder on Monday morning outside an apartment building to the north of downtown.

Around 1:37 in the morning, police were called to a stabbing that was happening in the 1600 block of Jackson Keller.

Around 1:30 in the morning, a lot of reports were made reporting a commotion and suspected stabbing at the intersection of Jackson Keller Road and Lavays Drive.

According to the police, they discovered a 35-year-old woman with a neck wound laying between two automobiles.

EMS arrived at the scene and attempted to save the woman’s life, but sadly she was later declared dead. According to police, she didn’t reside in the facility.
