
Kyra Dulguime; Teenage Victim Identified After Fatal Tram Accident In Sydney’s CBD
Sixteen-year-old Kyra Dulguime has been identified as the teenage girl who tragically lost her life after being trapped under a tram in Sydney’s CBD.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, emergency services were summoned to George Street in Haymarket following reports of a pedestrian being injured.
Upon arrival, the Sydney City police area command discovered a teenage girl who had sustained critical injuries.
The girl was rescued by the Police Rescue and Fire and Rescue NSW teams. Following her rescue, NSW Ambulance paramedics provided medical attention at the scene. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the girl could not be revived.
On Thursday, family members utilized social media to commemorate Kyra.
A family member expressed their affection towards their beloved Kyra Dulguime by stating, “I love you and I miss you, our beautiful angel.
“The individual in question will be greatly missed, according to sources. The individual expressed disbelief and sorrow over the departure of the person in question.
According to social media accounts, the family reportedly relocated from the Philippines to Sydney’s southern region.
According to witness reports, it is believed that Kyra attempted to cross the tram line between two carriages while the tram was stationary at a red light at the intersection of Goulburn and George streets.
According to witnesses, a teenager became trapped when the tram started moving. The driver was reportedly alerted and stopped the tram at Chinatown light rail stop, which was only a short distance away. Police are currently investigating the incident.

A 52-year-old man, identified as the driver, was transported to the hospital for mandatory testing.A crime scene has been established by the police who are currently conducting an investigation. According to Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Adam Dewberry, hydraulic lifting rams and high-pressure airbags were utilized by firefighters and police rescue teams to raise the 10-tonne carriage and reach the teenager. Dewberry described the situation as “difficult and tragic.”
